Our Story

connecting the dots can lead to a transformative vision, one that was not previously visible. This is how the story of Tri.O began.

The journey of the project started with Kfir Weinstein, one of the founders of the venture. As part of his extensive work in the research and treatment of vascular and lymphatic systems, he was involved in marketing medical devices in the field of compression therapy. As part of his work, he visited many hospitals, particularly in departments that treat DFU wounds. His understanding of the treatment areas, combined with his curious and caring nature, attracted his attention to the multitude of different protocols for treating diabetic foot ulcers, as well as the grim statistics. When he began to delve deeper into the various cases, he examined in depth the nature of the diabetic wound, including its medical characteristics, its psychology, and the reasons for its severe deterioration.

At this point, the most significant discovery on the way to Tri.O's breakthrough occurred. That was the realization that the solution lies in the ability to synchronize different protocols and functions, in a technique that will provide a comprehensive and complete solution regardless of the caregiver. On the same day that Weinstein understood the need, the answer also arrived. In what seemed to be a cosmically guided moment, Weinstein heard a specific word three times on the same day. The specific word, which later became a fundamental component of Tri.O's solution, led Weinstein to research the matter in depth, through various experiments, including in other fields. After realizing that there was potential for global transformation in the way diabetic ulcers are treated, he built the first model of the device in his clinic and began treating patients. The results were amazing, to the point of healing in situations where amputation seemed to be inevitable.

From this point on, it took several more years for the process to mature and for Weinstein' to join forces with the project's entrepreneurs and founders, Anat Eshed Glazer and Ronen Ben-Ari, and with Dr. Ze'ev Feldbbrin, the company's chief medical officer. After much research, development, patent registration, and production of the current model of the groundbreaking device, it happened. In January 2021, Tri.O was launched with a vision to make it easier to breathe for millions of DFU patients worldwide.

Tri.O's revolutionary device combines several of the most advanced treatment strategies in the field, with the aim of providing the patient with the optimal solution in the early stages of the wound and becoming a game-changer in the world of treatment of hard-to-heal wounds.
